Dispute Resolution Expert

We are seeking an experienced Dispute Resolution Expert to join our team in Zurich. As a key member of our Dispute Resolution Team, you will be responsible for managing External Dispute Resolution (EDR) cases across Australia and New Zealand.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Life Insurance disputes or claims management, with advanced knowledge of the Insurance Contracts Act (ICA), relevant regulations, and legislation. They will also possess excellent customer service and complaint resolution skills, as well as experience preparing clear and effective written submissions.

In this role, you will lead meetings with senior stakeholders to identify risks and ensure complaint insights drive business improvement. You will also build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including EDR Schemes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage EDR cases independently by reviewing responses, preparing written submissions, and participating in conciliations.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Lead meetings with senior stakeholders to identify risks and ensure complaint insights drive business improvement.
Requirements:
  • Solid experience in Life Insurance disputes or claims management.
  • Advanced understanding of the Insurance Contracts Act (ICA), relevant regulations, and legislation.
  • Strong customer service and complaint resolution skills focused on restoring and strengthening customer relationships.
  • Skilled in conciliation and mediation.
  • Experience preparing clear and effective written submissions.
