The EL1 Assistant Director, Digital Program Delivery plays a pivotal role in leading and coordinating the successful delivery of digital projects across various programs.
This senior role requires structured planning, proactive risk management, and collaborative stakeholder engagement to achieve lasting and practical solutions.
The Assistant Director will oversee the end-to-end planning, execution, and delivery of digital projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and aligned with the Commission's digital strategy and strategic priorities.
They will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of digital initiatives that support the Commission's objectives.
Additionally, the Assistant Director will manage resource allocation across multiple projects, ensuring optimal utilization and balancing workloads.
They will also identify, assess, and manage risks and issues across all projects, implementing mitigation strategies and ensuring team members understand and manage risks effectively.
This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional to take on a leadership role in digital program delivery.
Requirements- A degree in Project Management, Information Technology, Business, or a related field, or demonstrable relevant experience - relevant professional certification is desirable.
- Proven experience (5+ years) in managing digital programs or projects, with a strong track record of delivering results.
- In-depth knowledge of project management methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall, and proficiency in using project management tools.
- Demonstrated experience in leading project teams and managing multiple, complex digital projects from inception through to completion.
- Strong people management skills with the ability to lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performance project team.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to proactively identify, assess, and manage project risks.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment, handling multiple priorities and adapting to changing project demands.
- A commitment to continuous improvement, with the ability to implement and promote best practices in digital program delivery.
