IT Leadership Role

The Head of IT Operations and Service Delivery will be responsible for the strategic and operational planning, implementation, and day-to-day management of enterprise IT infrastructure, operational services, and systems.

This senior leadership position will oversee all IT operations, including network architecture, security, hardware, software, and National IT Service Desk. The successful candidate will lead the strategic infrastructure direction and digital transformation initiatives, driving innovation and alignment with business objectives.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing all IT operations, including network architecture, security, hardware, software, and National IT Service Desk.
  • Leading the strategic infrastructure direction and digital transformation initiatives.
  • Implementing and sustaining infrastructure and platforms across hybrid cloud environments and a solid understanding of Microsoft 365 ecosystem.
  • Contributing to development and execution of technology strategies that drive innovation and align with business goals.
  • Maintaining IT security controls and data protection measures, conducting IT risk assessments and managing incident response.
  • Developing processes and policies for IT Infrastructure, ensuring compliance with legal, regulatory, and policy requirements.
  • Overseeing the adoption of emerging technologies, infrastructure modernisation, cloud migration, and automation initiatives.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with internal stakeholders, vendors, and service providers.

The ideal candidate is a service-oriented and performance-driven leader with a proven track record in managing infrastructure and operations teams within complex organisations. Strong technical expertise, proven leadership skills, and a passion to build high-performing teams while continuously seeking improvement are essential.
