Defence Proposal Specialist

The successful applicant will be responsible for leading a team to prepare quotations, interpret tenders and cost estimates for various projects.
Key Responsibilities:- Proven experience with defence writing standards for bids and tenders.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
- Experience in supporting defence bids and proposals.
- Review and interpret tender documentation.
- Estimate labour, material, and subcontractor costs.
- Liaise with customers and suppliers to clarify technical and commercial requirements.
- Drive competitive pricing through data-driven analysis.
- Qualifications in Engineering, Estimating, or Project Management (highly regarded).
- Managed multiple priorities in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment.
- Good understanding of Australian and international engineering/manufacturing standards.
- A detailed understanding of contracts and how they're created would be beneficial.
- Experience in preparing and delivering competitive proposals.
- Candidates will need to be an Australian Citizen to apply.
- There is an ITAR compliance aspect to this role.
