**Job Title:** Media Communications Specialist

**Job Description:**

We are seeking a skilled Media Communications Specialist to lead our external communications and media activities, including content creation and stakeholder engagement.

The ideal candidate will have strengths in writing, editing, and proofreading for various audiences and channels, as well as experience developing and implementing media and communication strategies.

This role will also involve coordinating daily digital channel content planning, creating and implementing content strategies, monitoring, reporting, and maintaining digital channels.

In addition, the successful candidate will be responsible for delivering campaign content and visual assets, managing external contractors, and contributing to multichannel campaign strategy.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • External Communications: Coordinate daily digital channel content planning, write for web, social, speeches, reports, media, website, email newsletters, and campaigns.
  • Media: Coordinate daily media relations, arrange media interviews, write and distribute media releases, op-eds, and responses.
  • Digital, Social, and Multimedia: Create and implement content strategies, monitor, report, and maintain digital channels.
  • Websites: Develop and update accessible web and digital content.
  • Brand and Campaigns: Deliver campaign content and visual assets, manage external contractors, and contribute to multichannel campaign strategy.

**Required Skills and Experience:**

  • Strengths in writing, editing, and proofreading for various audiences and channels.
  • Experience developing and implementing media and communication strategies.
  • Proficiency with Canva, PowerPoint, SharePoint, email marketing tools, web content management systems, and media intelligence software.
