System Support Specialist

This role is a proactive and detail-oriented position that provides Level 1 and 2 support for our core enterprise administration platform. It involves working closely with business users to support a mission-critical business application, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, resolving functional issues, and contributing to system enhancements and testing.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Provide functional support to business users of the application
  • Triage and resolve application-related issues, escalating where necessary
  • Maintain and update operational documentation and knowledge base articles
  • Assist with system testing, release deployments, and user acceptance testing
  • Manage application user access and reporting
  • Support regulatory reporting requirements
Candidate Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualification in Information Technology or related field
  • Minimum 1 year's experience in a business application support or functional support role
  • Strong understanding of business processes and how they relate to enterprise systems
  • Experience with issue triaging, root cause analysis, and user support
  • Familiarity with ITSM tools such as Jira, Confluence, or ServiceNow
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
