Support Student Mental Health and Wellbeing

This role involves providing direct support to students, undertaking evidence-based assessments and interventions relating to student mental health, wellbeing and engagement at school.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide individual, group and community responses to promote positive mental health, wellbeing and engagement outcomes for students.
  • Build opportunities for student voice and participation, relating to culture and inclusion within the school setting.
  • Work with families and the community to support student mental health, wellbeing and engagement at school.
  • Refer and support engagement with external agencies for support.
  • Build strong partnerships with families and the school community to promote positive relationships.

As a Social Worker employed by the Department of Education, you will have access to a range of benefits including:
