Job Overview

Role: Data Migration Specialist + Application Tester

Type: Contract Position

Location: Melbourne/Sydney

Job Responsibilities
  • Data Testing and Validation: Conduct thorough testing of data migration and warehousing processes to ensure accurate, secure data transformations.
  • SQL Query Development: Develop and execute complex SQL queries to validate data integrity.
  • Test Automation: Utilize Python or other scripting languages to automate test processes and improve efficiency.
  • Test Data Creation: Create test data based on transformation rules in a project management tool.
  • Test Planning and Execution: Create and maintain test cases, validation scripts, and test plans; manage and execute test plans, track and report defects, and ensure timely resolution.
  • Development Life Cycle: Participate in all phases of the SDLC, including requirements analysis, design, development, testing, and deployment.
  • Team Collaboration: Comfortable working in an Agile environment with project management tools.
  • Industry Knowledge: Experience in the Insurance domain is highly preferred.
  • Skill Requirements: Excellent problem-solving and data analysis skills; strong communication and interpersonal skills.
