SAP Data Migration Expert

As an SAP data migration expert, you will be responsible for delivering a range of SAP implementation and data migration projects for various clients.

This is an ideal opportunity for experienced SAP professionals who have a strong understanding of SAP systems and their integration with data management strategies.

  • Leading end-to-end data migration projects to ensure the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of data transferred from legacy systems to SAP platforms.
  • Defining data migration strategy, architecture, and conversion test cycles.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather requirements.
  • Designing and implementing data mapping, transformation, and validation processes using data migration toolsets.
  • Developing and maintaining project plans, timelines, and resource allocations to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Identifying and mitigating risks associated with data migration while maintaining data quality and governance standards.
  • Ensuring the impact of data migration on processes, solutions, interfaces, and integration are identified, reported, and managed.
  • Communicating effectively with non-technical stakeholders and providing regular updates on project progress.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience leading E2E SAP data migration projects with in-depth knowledge of SAP modules and associated data migration tools.
  • Proficiency in SAP Data Services, LSMW, LTMC, and other 3rd party ETL tools for data mapping, transformation, and validation.
  • Strong project management skills with experience using MS Project.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Experience in data quality assurance and governance practices.
