Disability Support Worker

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated professionals to provide person-centred support to individuals living with disability. The successful candidate will play a vital role in empowering participants to achieve their goals and live with dignity.

About the Role

The Disability Support Worker will be responsible for delivering high-quality care and support to individuals living with disability. This will involve providing assistance with daily living activities, managing medication, and supporting participants to engage in community activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care and support to individuals living with disability
  • Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation
  • Manage medication according to participant needs
  • Support participants to engage in community activities
  • Communicate effectively with participants, families, and other stakeholders
Requirements
  • A registered ABN
  • Proof of working rights in Australia
  • Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent qualification
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check (NDISWC) - current and valid
  • Current Police Check (issued within the last 3 years)
  • Valid First Aid Certificate (within 3 years) and CPR (within 1 year)
  • Completion of the NDIS Worker Orientation Module
