Electrical Growth Manager

The Electrical Growth Manager is a hybrid field-driven role that combines technical expertise with sales enablement to drive revenue growth in residential electrical product categories.

This position requires strong leadership skills, the ability to influence outcomes through training and strategy, and a proven track record of success in multi-site management and sales enablement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to drive residential electrical product sales through technical training and upselling
  • Collaborate with regional leadership and local teams to identify growth opportunities and ensure consistent messaging and execution across all centers
  • Build relationships with product vendors, sales managers, and technicians to leverage technical insights and solution-based recommendations tailored to seasonality and market demand
Technical Expertise & Training:
  • Design and deliver comprehensive training programs for sales staff, technicians, and partners to strengthen knowledge of electrical systems and applications
  • Act as the subject matter expert for residential electrical solutions, industry innovation, and competitor offerings across the organization
  • Monitor market trends, new technologies, and competitor offerings to ensure best-in-class training, positioning, and product selection
Leadership & Collaboration:
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and influence across multiple sites to align electrical sales strategies and execution
  • Partner with regional and local managers to roll out product-focused training and sales initiatives
  • Maintain standard operating procedures and ensure consistency in product representation, technical implementation, rebates, and pricebook adherence
Travel & Strategic Planning:
  • Travel extensively to visit centers, support regional teams, conduct live training, and attend industry events and vendor meetings
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to align electrical strategies with company-wide growth objectives

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of residential electrical industry experience with strong technical knowledge of systems, codes, and products
  • 3+ years in a leadership role, with proven experience in training, technical sales, or product management. Multi-site management required.
  • Generac certification (or equivalent)
  • Demonstrated success influencing sales outcomes through training, technical coaching, and consultative selling
  • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills are required
  • Electrical license or certification
  • Service Titan/CRM system experience strongly recommended
