Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Community Health Nurse to join our team in the Limestone Coast region of South Australia. As a valued member of our team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality primary health care to clients across the community.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Assess and plan patient care to ensure the highest standards.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and community organisations.
  • Implement and coordinate services tailored to each patient's needs.
  • Use problem-solving, negotiation, and communication skills to drive positive health outcomes.
  • Work with diverse groups, including Aboriginal communities, in a culturally sensitive manner.

Requirements:

  • Registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate.
  • Ideal experience in community health.
  • Ability to work within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Culturally appropriate engagement with patients is essential, and a flexible, innovative approach to problem-solving is required.
  • Desire to work towards becoming an Authorised Immunisation Nurse.
