Job Opportunity

Seek a skilled Claims Service Professional to work with our team.

  • This is a 15-month contract with the possibility to go permanent, offering a hybrid working environment that allows you to work from home or in our office. The successful candidate will be required to be accessible within the vicinity of their state CBD office.
  • You will have the opportunity to work a rotating roster between 8am-6pm (local time) and a training roster from 9am-6pm (AEST time).

About the Role:

  • Follow industry best practices and adhere to standards to minimize claim costs.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of legislation affecting claims management and apply sound decision-making throughout the claim's lifecycle.
  • Manage expectations and relationships with stakeholders.
  • Build and maintain positive working relationships within the team and the broader business unit.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and provide timely responses to customer needs, adhering to quality standards.
  • Handle a high volume of inbound and outbound calls in a fast-paced environment.

About You:

  • Experience in motor claims in a call-centre based environment for the entirety of your shift.
  • Experience in claims management across various commercial product lines in a complex organization.
  • Possess tertiary or industry-specific qualifications.
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently across multiple systems and platforms.
  • Experience in working with external partners.
  • Meet technical capability and competence standards for professional progression.
  • Experience in claims management across various general insurance product lines in a complex organization.
  • Excellent communication skills, with proficiency in technology tools.
  • Proficient in planning, prioritizing, organizing tasks, and managing resources effectively.
  • A passion for staying up-to-date with emerging technologies.
