Job Description

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining comprehensive reporting on capital generation and usage. This involves providing insights into capital trends, identifying areas of improvement, and presenting findings to senior stakeholders.

You will also be required to coordinate meeting materials for the Capital Working Group, including preparation of meeting agendas and collation of supporting documents. Additionally, you will interpret prudential standards and provide advice on the capital implications of business activities.

Furthermore, you will support capital reporting for external financial disclosures and related analysis. Your analytical mindset and ability to distil insights from large datasets will be crucial in communicating findings relevant to business stakeholders.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Knowledge of Banking Prudential Standards: You should have a thorough understanding of banking prudential standards relating to capital adequacy.
  • Tertiary Qualifications: A tertiary qualification in Finance, Actuarial or Accounting is essential.
  • Post Graduate Qualifications: While not mandatory, post graduate qualifications in a relevant field are highly desirable.
  • Experience: Experience gained within treasury, big four bank, or consulting firm is highly desirable.
  • Analytical Mindset: You should possess an analytical mindset with the ability to distil insights from large datasets.
  • Communication Skills: Effective communication skills are crucial in engaging with a wide cross section of stakeholders.
  • Technical Skills: Advanced Excel and Power Point skills are necessary. SQL experience is required, while TM1 experience is desirable.
