Emergency Response Operations Director

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced leader to oversee an operational team in preparing and responding to emergencies.
This is a full-time ongoing role with regular travel to units, providing opportunities for professional growth and development.
- Lead a high-performing multidisciplinary team, ensuring community safety through operational capability and readiness.
This role is responsible for providing leadership and building cohesive teams across diverse disciplines and backgrounds.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of leading and engaging a volunteer workforce, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement strategies to enhance team performance, drive continuous improvement, and ensure sustainable delivery.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders, including volunteers, staff, and external partners.
- Monitor and report on key performance metrics, making recommendations for improvement.

- Attractive salary range of $149,739 to $173,174 + 15% field allowance plus 11.5% superannuation and leave loading.
