Key Role: Clinical Services Director
We are seeking an experienced professional to lead our clinical services across Tweed Heads, Lismore, and Ballina.
The successful candidate will provide strategic leadership and clinical guidance to a multidisciplinary team delivering youth mental health services, overseeing clinical governance, accreditation, and continuous service improvement.
Broad Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement clinical strategies to enhance service delivery and outcomes
- Oversight of clinical governance and accreditation processes
- Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and legislative requirements
- Lead the development and implementation of evidence-based interventions and stepped care models
- Mentor and develop clinical staff and placement students
- Act as Site Director, ensuring safe environments and consistent incident and emergency responses
This is a leadership role with both strategic and operational responsibilities, providing opportunities for the successful candidate to shape services that support young people's mental health, physical health, sexual health, alcohol and other drug concerns, and vocational/educational wellbeing.
Essential Requirements:
- Tertiary qualifications in psychology, mental health nursing, or social work (with mental health accreditation)
- Current professional registration (AHPRA or AASW)
- Minimum 2 years experience leading a multidisciplinary team in mental health, ideally within youth services
- Strong knowledge of mental health trends, stepped care, and service delivery models
- Skills in clinical supervision, mentoring, and workforce development
