We are seeking a highly skilled culinary professional to provide exceptional dining experiences for our guests.
Key Responsibilities:- Work collaboratively with the team to deliver outstanding service and maintain a positive working environment.
- Adhere to strict workplace hygiene procedures (HACCP) and ensure the kitchen remains clean and hygienic at all times.
- Prepare and cook menu items to the highest quality standards, adhering to recipes and presentation requirements.
- Be mindful of meal times and demonstrate efficiency, timeliness, and attention to detail in meal preparation and presentation.
- Arrange and present food displays with flair, ensuring high standards of visual appeal.
- Relevant chef qualifications, preferably including Certificate III Commercial Cookery.
- Thorough understanding of various cooking techniques, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
- Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks, with a focus on productivity and efficiency.
- Ability to retain verbal instructions and follow directions accurately.
- Basic knowledge of guest dietary requirements, including food allergies and intolerances.
- Familiarity with food safety principles and protocols.
- Food Safety Certification is desirable.
- Experience working in high-volume kitchen environments.
