We are a dynamic and engaging team dedicated to delivering exceptional experiences for children in our care. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring that every child has a fun, safe, and memorable experience.

The Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Second in Charge. In this role, you will assist the Director of Service in delivering an exceptional experience for the children in our care. This will include:

  • Assisting with the creation and implementation of enriching experiences based on the preferences of the children in your program.
  • Supporting with ensuring your program is compliant according to industry regulations.
  • Interacting with parents and helping them with enquiries wherever possible.
  • Engaging with the school community, attending events, assemblies, etc when the Director can't attend.
  • Playing and having fun with primary school aged children.
  • Co-managing or coordinating during the school holiday program.


You

To succeed in this role, you will need to be passionate about kids, have loads of energy, and love to have fun. You should also be a strong team player with excellent problem-solving skills and a positive attitude. Ideally, you will have previous experience working in Before and After School Care or education, but this is by no means essential - we can train you. You must have outstanding communication skills, both verbal & written, and be looking for stable, permanent part-time hours - up to 25 per week. You should also be qualified or studying towards an ACECQA recognised qualification in Victoria.
