Global Trade Marketing Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented professional to join our trade marketing team as a Global Trade Marketing Specialist. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in category management, promotional strategies, and new product launches.
Key Responsibilities- NPD: Assist in launching new products by collaborating with cross-functional teams to align NPD strategies, manage timelines, and ensure readiness for each category review. Procure trade samples and packaging that showcase the product's features.
- Category Management Expertise: Liaise with market research firms to maintain accurate scan data and category performance reports. Provide insights that inform key strategic decisions, including promotional strategies and competitive positioning.
- Promax Leadership: Ensure promotional plans are accurately entered into Promax, track monthly trade spend, and collaborate with finance to resolve P&L reporting at both account and brand levels.
- Trade marketing experience is highly valued but not mandatory.
- A degree in a relevant field is required.
- Proven experience in the FMCG space (at least 5 years) is essential, particularly in Australian grocery markets.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills are necessary.
