Senior Engineering Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Engineering Professional to join our team. As the head of the Engine Department, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation, maintenance, and repair of all machinery and electrical equipment onboard.

Job Responsibilities:
  • The supervision of all engineering officers while adhering to budgets and purchasing procedures;
  • Safeguarding the owners' interest at all times;
  • Assisting in the operation of the ship's cargo equipment;
  • Keeping advised of any bunker, lubricating oils or sludge transfers which may affect the ship's trim, stress, and/or stability;
Requirements:
  1. A minimum of 12 months sea time as a First Engineer;
  2. A Certificate of Safety Training (STCW III/2);
  3. A Work Safely at Heights Certification;
  4. An Enter and Work in Confined Space Certification;
  5. A Maritime Security Identification Card (MSIC);
  6. Australian Citizenship or unlimited Australian Working Rights;
  7. Ability to live in Australia;
  8. Comfortable wearing a respirator;
About the Position:

This is a permanent full-time position on our transhipment vessel; Donnacona, operating in Cape Preston, Western Australia. You will report to the Master and work closely with the Chief Officer.
