Macquarie's Commodities & Global Markets (CGM) Group is seeking a seasoned professional to lead its Risk Culture & Supervision team. The ideal candidate will have 12-15 years of experience in front office financial or commodity markets trading or risk management, with a proven track record of team leadership and innovation.

Key Responsibilities

">

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a global core team, providing advice and guidance to colleagues and stakeholders, and representing the RC&S team in governance meetings. They will also play a key role in designing the CGM supervisory framework and implementing processes, controls, and reporting.

Requirements

  • ">
  • 12-15 years of experience in a similar position related to front office financial or commodity markets trading or risk management.">
  • Experience of team leadership, ideally of remote teams.">
  • A curious and innovative mindset, be a self-starter, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.">
  • A commercial risk management approach, with a strong ability to leverage data to support ideas and decisions presented to senior management.">
  • A high level of confidence and strong communication skills, so that you can not only build good relationships, engendering trust and confidence, but also be able to challenge and mediate between senior stakeholders where necessary.">
