About the Role

ING Bank (Australia) Limited is seeking a highly skilled Compliance Manager to join our team. As a Compliance Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that our wealth products and services comply with applicable laws and obligations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide compliance advice regarding marketing related issues, events, and complaints.
  • Provide compliance advice on ESG related risks.
  • Develop and provide training to staff members as required.
  • Provide SME advice and support to business partners on regulatory and industry code obligations.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of Australian legal, regulatory and industry code obligations relevant to banking, credit and financial product and services within wealth.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in compliance or consulting roles in the financial services industry, preferably in General Insurance and/or Superannuation.
  • A solid understanding of relevant legislation, ideally including the Privacy Act and the Spam Act.
  • Degree qualified in accounting, commerce, law or related discipline.
