A Support Worker Role
About the Position: We seek a dedicated support worker to empower individuals with disabilities in achieving their goals and living independently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide daily support and assistance in personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks.
- Foster a safe and inclusive environment promoting independence and social interaction.
- Develop and implement individual support plans with residents and families.
- Assist in accessing community resources and participating in social activities.
- Administer medications and maintain accurate records.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team for holistic well-being.
- Maintain a clean, safe, living environment.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check, Police Check, and Working with Children Check.
- Current Driver's license, car registration, and insurance.
- First Aid and CPR Certificate, NDIS Orientation Module, and NDIS Infection Control Module.
- Cert 4 in disability or individual support (desirable).
- Commitment to providing exceptional support and great communication skills.
