In this challenging role, you will be part of a multidisciplinary team delivering community drug health and addiction recovery services. This permanent full-time position is based in Blacktown and Mount Druitt.

\About the Role\
  • Provide evidence-based clinical services to clients referred to the Centre for Addiction Medicine, including intake, assessment, treatment planning, case management, counselling, group work, and health promotion.
  • Deliver patient-centered, trauma-informed care that adheres to harm reduction principles.
\Key Responsibilities\
  1. Develop and implement individualised treatment plans for clients with complex needs.
  2. Collaborate with colleagues to achieve positive outcomes for our clients.
\Requirements\
  • Tertiary qualifications in Counselling or a related field.
  • Bachelor Degree in Counselling or a related field, with experience working with drug and alcohol clients.
\Selection Criteria\
  • Experience delivering evidence-based interventions for substance use issues and/or comorbid mental health problems.
  • Ability to build professional therapeutic relationships and communicate effectively with diverse groups.
