Job Overview

We're seeking an experienced Transport Operations Manager to lead our daily transport activities. This is a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our logistics network, and we're looking for someone who can drive results and excellence.

  • Supervise daily transport operations, ensuring a safe working environment and compliance with relevant standards.
  • Optimise resource allocation and collaborate with senior leaders to enhance operational efficiency and achieve targets.
  • Monitor and evaluate transport Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), guaranteeing service levels are met.
  • Manage subcontractors, ensuring adherence to requirements.
  • Conduct regular asset reconciliations, including inventory, pallets, and equipment.
Essential Qualifications
  • Prior experience in a leadership position within the Transport/Logistics sector.
  • Able to motivate and nurture a high-performing team with confidence.
  • Detailed, analytical, and methodical with diverse system skills.
