Transport Operations Manager

The Transport Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily transport operations at a site, ensuring a safe working environment and compliance with company standards.

  • Supervise and support day-to-day Night Shift operations, ensuring adherence to work allocation, driver schedules, and service metrics
  • Ensure all Safety & Compliance requirements are met and in line with operational plans
  • Monitor and assess transport Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), ensuring service levels are achieved
  • Manage subcontractors, ensuring compliance with cartage contracts and FoxLink requirements
  • Conduct daily and weekly reconciliation of assets, including inventory, pallets, and transport equipment
  • Optimise payloads to achieve commercial returns, implementing strategies for route and schedule success
  • Collaborate with subcontractors to meet seasonal requirements effectively
