Corporate Banking Analyst Position

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team in Sydney as a Corporate Banking Analyst. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and growing relationships with public and private companies headquartered in Australia and New Zealand.

The team offers traditional corporate banking services along with investment banking products. As a key member of the Large-cap portfolio, you will work closely with business partners and product specialists across Debt Capital Markets, Equity Capital Markets, Mergers and Acquisitions, Treasury Services, and Risk Management to identify cross-selling opportunities and support ongoing client needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Originate new banking opportunities from clients by collaborating with bankers.
  • Assess and review client profiles, credit risks, and handle structuring and documentation of credit requests.
  • Work with underwriting teams on client and credit risk analysis, transaction structuring, and documentation.
  • Serve as a primary contact for clients, managing day-to-day inquiries.
  • Support deal teams in generating financing, corporate finance, treasury services, and market opportunities.
  • Review complex financial models to assist in credit decision-making.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics, or related field.
  • At least 1 year of experience in Corporate Banking or Investment Banking.
  • Strong skills in credit analysis, financial modeling, and knowledge of banking products.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
  • Motivated team player with a collaborative mindset.
