Job Opportunity

Our organisation is seeking a skilled and experienced Community Manager to lead the operations of one of our retirement living communities in the western suburbs. This role offers a unique opportunity to create a welcoming and enriching environment for residents, providing excellent customer service and ensuring their needs are met efficiently.

This position involves overseeing day-to-day operations, including financial management, staff supervision, resident liaison, and coordination of human and material resources. The successful candidate will have experience in retirement living or related fields, with exceptional customer service and leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the community team to deliver exceptional customer service and experiences for residents
  • Manage daily operations, including financial management, staff supervision, and resource allocation
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance the quality of life for residents, promoting a sense of community and well-being
  • Foster strong relationships with residents, families, and external stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and organisational policies

Requirements:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in a related field (e.g., business, social work)
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a supervisory or management role within retirement living or a related industry
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with diverse groups
  • Demonstrated understanding of relevant legislation and regulatory requirements
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a dynamic team, contributing to a positive and supportive work environment
