About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Demi Chef to join our team at Courtyard by Marriott. As a Demi Chef, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional food and beverage experiences to our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment to ensure efficient service periods.
  • Prepare and present food to exceed guest expectations, adhering to high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Understand and deliver exceptional service to our experienced travelers, ensuring a personalized experience with each interaction.
  • Assist the team in the preparation and execution of all food and beverage outlet service periods.
  • Maintain strong food safety and property standards, adhering to Marriott International's high standards.
  • Organize and maintain the assigned section of the kitchen effectively, ensuring seamless service delivery.
  • Serve food in proper portions onto proper receptacles, adhering to presentation standards.
About You
  • Trade Industry Qualification or completion of Commercial Cookery Qualification.
  • Passion for the industry and a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
  • Relevant experience in a similar role, with a focus on food preparation and presentation.
  • Working rights in Australia and a willingness to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-motivated, driven, and energized, with a can-do attitude and a passion for delivering exceptional results.
