Hydroelectric Power Equipment Expert

We are seeking a skilled specialist to support our hydroelectric projects in Melbourne, Australia.

This role involves working with complex electromechanical equipment, hydraulic structures, and SCADA systems. As part of our growing water business in Australia, you will play a key role in liaising with clients and partners on-site.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Technical Support: Provide technical expertise for clients on matters related to the design of hydraulic structures.
  • Document Development: Lead or support the development of technical studies locally, including preparation of reports, calculation notes, and technical memos.
  • Project Validation: Review and validate specific project deliverables as required.
  • Client Liaison: Participate in and lead internal and external technical meetings with clients and partners, addressing technical, administrative, and contractual matters in coordination with the Project Manager.
Requirements:
  • Expertise in Hydroelectric Design: Master's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering with a specialization in hydropower design.
  • Relevant Experience: Over 10 years as an electrical expert for electromechanical equipment or a mechanical expert for hydromechanical components.
  • Skills: Proactive, detail-oriented, and quality-focused with strong time management skills. Able to work independently on moderately complex tasks with minimal supervision. Proficient in MS Office Suite.
