Job Title: Rehabilitation Consultant

The Role:

  • This is a challenging and rewarding role for a rehabilitation consultant to work with individuals who may be living with an illness, disability, or injury.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide case management services including manageable caseloads and support from rehabilitation assistants.
  • Apply clinical knowledge to improve return to work outcomes.
  • Collaborate with employers and employees to develop and implement injury prevention and workplace education programs.
  • Work with injured workers, employers, medical and allied health professionals to achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Conduct vocational assessments, labour market research, and match job options with clients' capabilities.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualifications in psychology or rehabilitation counselling.
  • General or provisional AHPRA registration or full ASORC membership.
  • Previous experience working in occupational rehabilitation is highly regarded.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Compassion and kindness with empathy.
  • Strong time management skills.
  • A current driver's license and access to own car with comprehensive insurance.
