About the Role

In this dynamic position, you will be responsible for operating cutting-edge technology, including satellite terminals, radios, and advanced security equipment. Your training will equip you with the skills needed to become proficient in tactical voice and data communications, advanced field antenna construction, network security, and specialized software applications.

You will ensure that your commander can communicate effectively over various networks, adapting to diverse work environments. This may involve working from armoured vehicles, offices, airfields, or even on large Navy vessels.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, design, and manage communications support networks
  • Configure and deploy tactical radio and satellite systems, including antennas and communications security systems, computer networks, and terminals
  • Provide guidance on communications systems to fellow soldiers
  • Conduct maintenance, identify, and rectify faults of equipment systems
