- A proven experience in structured energy transactions and complex contract negotiations.
- Deep understanding of the links between PPAs, investment models and project finance documentation.
- Deep experience in APJC power markets.
- Strong written and communication skills.

Key job responsibilities
- Lead the development and execution of a comprehensive carbon free energy and utilities strategy for AWS data centers;
- Lead investment activities with a strong focus on renewable transactions from early stage development through commercial operations;
- Lead market analysis, transaction origination, (co-)development, structuring, business and financial diligence;
- Work closely with external technical resources for the development, construction and operating phase;

- 15+ years of relevant experience in energy markets, energy trading, power contract negotiations, energy regulations, renewable development, or energy generation technologies
- Existing active network to developers, IPPs, utilities, funds, financiers, governments and/or multilaterals in the APJC region;
- Have a demonstrated experience in structured energy transactions and contract negotiations, a deep understanding of the links between PPAs, investment models and project finance documentation, direct agreements, bank and corporate guarantees and inter creditor agreements;
- Excellent speaking-listening-writing skills and attention to details
