Job Title: Physiotherapist - Neurosciences Specialist

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled physiotherapist to join our team in the neurosciences stream. As a physiotherapist in this role, you will be working with a diverse range of patients and conditions, including acute respiratory, neuromuscular weakness, brain injury, epilepsy, neonatal care, neurosurgery, neurology, developmental care, neural tube defects, bone health, plagiocephaly, aquatic therapy, and concussion management.

This is a challenging yet rewarding opportunity for a physiotherapist who is passionate about delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the advancement of the field. You will have the opportunity to work with a multidisciplinary team to develop best practice and improve patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide clinical care, advice, and education to patients and families in line with clinical guidelines and evidence-based practice.
  • Work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team to establish common goals and develop best care for children and families.
  • Identify personal and professional development needs and plan and implement strategies for achieving them.
Requirements:
  • A bachelor's degree in physiotherapy or a related field and registration to practice as a physiotherapist with the relevant authority.
  • Experience working in an acute tertiary and/or acute pediatric environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution skills and the ability to apply these in practice.
  • Demonstrated skills and experience in areas of physiotherapy practice relevant to the neurosciences stream.
