We are seeking a skilled leader to manage our nursing team. As a Nurse Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and the success of our organization.

The successful candidate will have extensive experience in leading teams and managing staff, as well as excellent clinical knowledge and interpersonal skills. They will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the nursing team, including staffing, scheduling, and performance management.

In this role, you will also be responsible for promoting a positive work environment, fostering open communication, and encouraging staff development and growth. You will work closely with other members of the leadership team to achieve organizational goals and objectives.

  • Develop and implement strategies to improve patient care and satisfaction

  • Manage and develop a team of nurses, providing coaching, mentoring, and feedback

  • Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, guidelines, and standards

  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience in leading a team and managing staff effectively

  • Registration as a nurse with AHPRA

  • Postgraduate qualifications or experience in management or healthcare administration

  • Excellent clinical knowledge and interpersonal skills
