Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to fill the role of HSIE KLA Coordinator in our Secondary School. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of teachers in providing high-quality Christ-centred education.

The ideal candidate will have teaching experience in Stages 4-6 HSIE, including Junior Geography and History, Business Studies, Legal Studies, Studies of Religion, Modern History, and Society and Culture. They will also have an integrated understanding of faith and subject content, as well as leadership experience within a faculty.

In this role, you will work collaboratively with the wellbeing coordinators and teaching team to create and sustain an enriching learning environment marked by excellence in learning, assessment, evaluation, reporting, and prioritising child safety.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:

Essential Qualifications:

  • Teaching experience in Stages 4-6 HSIE
  • Leadership experience within a faculty
  • Integrated understanding of faith and subject content

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Passion for Christian Education
  • Confident in technology use in the classroom
  • Curious and tenacious learners motivating students to be likewise
