Senior Engineering Leader Job Summary

We seek an accomplished Senior Engineering Leader to drive innovation and excellence in our engineering team. This leader will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to enhance our proprietary biomanufacturing platform.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in systems design, industrial automation, or bioprocessing, with experience in building and scaling high-performing engineering teams.

This role requires exceptional leadership, communication, and technical skills to guide the team towards achieving our sustainability and biotechnology goals.

Main Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership: Recruit, mentor, and retain top engineering talent
  • Technical Strategy: Establish and maintain engineering best practices and processes
  • Project Delivery: Guide project delivery, timelines, and resources
  • Hands-on Leadership: Provide hands-on leadership in design, reviews, and problem-solving
  • Stakeholder Communication: Communicate progress, risks, and technical trade-offs to stakeholders
  • Innovation Champion: Champion innovation and adoption of new technologies
Required Skills & Experience
  • Leadership Experience: Proven experience as a Senior Engineering Leader or similar role
  • Tech Background: Strong background in systems design, industrial automation, or bioprocessing
  • Team Building: Experience building and scaling high-performing engineering teams
  • Leadership Skills: Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Agile Methodologies: Experience with agile methodologies and modern engineering practices
  • Sustainability: Passion for sustainability and biotechnology
  • Emerging Tech: Exposure to IoT, robotics, or process automation
