About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Inventory Manager to join our team at Workwear Group. As an Inventory Manager, you will be responsible for efficiently managing and maintaining accurate inventory records, monitoring stock movements, and optimizing inventory levels to support business operations.

This involves coordinating with warehouse teams and partners across WWG, implementing control procedures, and analyzing data to make informed decisions. The goal is to achieve inventory efficiency, minimize stockouts and excess inventory, and align inventory processes with organizational goals while ensuring safe working practices in line with health and safety requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide guidance and assistance to team members on the operational floor, including training and day-to-day tasks.
  • Ensure all assigned inventory tasks are completed within required timelines.
  • Plan, complete, and report on cycle counts as directed by the Inventory Manager ANZ.
  • Utilize inventory management software and systems to track stock movements, monitor inventory levels, and generate reports.
  • Monitor and analyze inventory data to identify areas for improvement, including optimal SKU slotting and zoning.
  • Develop and implement inventory control strategies to maintain optimal stock levels while minimizing carrying costs and stock-outs.
  • Support Inventory Manager ANZ in planning and executing Indent programs.
  • Coordinate with the Warehouse Management Team and Account Managers.
  • Support the Inventory Manager ANZ in meeting supply chain objectives and targets.
  • Maintain stock accuracy and ensure safe working practices in line with health and safety requirements.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years experience in a similar role
  • Previous experience in a similar role within a large-scale warehouse
  • High levels of experience with Excel and writing and extracting data sets using SQL
  • High level analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with stakeholders at various levels.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements and compliance related to inventory management.
  • Providing guidance, training, and support to team members, as well as monitoring their performance and ensuring adherence to inventory control procedures.
  • Experience in optimal SKU slotting with the objective of increasing operational efficiencies.
