**About the role**:
Knauf is seeking a passionate and experienced **Raw Materials & Inventory Planner **to join our operations team. This role will be based at our site in **Port Melbourne, VIC** and reports directly to the Plant Manager.
In this role you will be responsible for the end-to-end inventory management of raw materials within a high-volume busy manufacturing environment.

It is critical to have a hands-on approach with the right attitude and ability to work closely with the Operations team. An MRP star with ability to forecast demand and make sure our plant continues to run without adverse impacts. You will bring a proactive and passionate approach to your role and enjoy in celebrating team success. If you have a strong, organized work ethic, we want to hear from you.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Develop procedures in relation to all warehouse processes including Receiving, Dispatching and Parts replenishment for manufacturing production.
- Manage and reconcile stock on a daily basis and follow up discrepancies.
- Ensure the accuracy of inventory levels and conduct regular stocktakes.
- Monitor and control inventory levels to minimise wastage and maximize efficiency.
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.
- Perform regular quality checks on incoming and outgoing goods.
- Issue monthly stock on hand report on a timely basis.
- Support with inventory related analysis and reporting where required
- Avoid inventory shortages to prevent overdue deliveries

**Qualifications/Experience**
- Previous experience in Warehouse or Parts Store
- Good computer skills with experience in inventory management software.
- Ability to work within a team environment where team success is celebrated
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Solid attention to detail for inventory accuracy and inventory returns
- A great communicator at all levels and ability to build relationship with internal and external customers.
