Electro-Mechanical Specialist

This is a challenging role that requires a highly motivated and experienced individual to deliver top-notch service and repair solutions.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electro-mechanical service and repair work, with a focus on Medical Imaging products such as X-Ray or Direct Radiology (DR) equipment, Mobile X-ray Systems, Fluoroscopy X-ray, DR Retrofit, or Computed Radiography (CR) devices and Medical DICOM printers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct installations of X-ray systems and other diagnostic equipment in accordance with customer requirements and specifications.
  • Analytically diagnose and perform repairs on Medical Imaging equipment and ensure relevant updates and patches are applied.
  • Perform remote diagnostic procedures on customer sites.
  • Perform preventative maintenance as scheduled and in accordance with industry standards and policies.
  • Travel throughout Victoria and interstate to carry out duties.
Requirements:
  • Hold or be eligible for required electrical and/or radiation licenses.
  • Hold a tertiary qualification(s) in Electrical, Engineering or similar technical qualifications.
  • Have proven experience in electro-mechanical service and repair work.
  • Have basic IT knowledge of Windows operating systems, PC repairs and installations, databases, networking, storage etc.
  • Be familiar with the setup and configuration of Medical Imaging standards such as DICOM and HL7.
  • Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills and have a strong customer service focus.
