Job Overview

We are seeking an accomplished Financial Strategist to lead our financial operations in Australia. The role involves ensuring accuracy, compliance, and strategic insight in financial reporting, budgeting, internal controls, and accounts payable and receivable.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in line with accounting standards.
  • Manage budgeting and forecasting processes, including variance analysis and reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements, including external audits.
  • Oversee general ledger functions and maintain robust internal controls.
  • Provide strategic financial insights to senior leadership to support business initiatives.
  • Drive improvements in financial systems and processes.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or CA qualification preferred).
  • 7–10 years of progressive experience in finance or accounting, including at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and reporting standards.
  • Proficiency in financial systems and tools such as SAP, BPC, AARO, and Power BI.
