Job Title:
Occupational Therapy Assistant

Are you a motivated and compassionate individual looking to make a positive impact in the lives of others? We have an exciting opportunity for an Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our team at Central Adelaide Local Health Network.

In this role, you will work as part of a multidisciplinary team under the direction of an Allied Health Professional to contribute to the safe, efficient, and professional operation of the AH service on the relevant Mental Health Unit or service.

Your key responsibilities will include:
  • Assisting mental health consumers on an individual or group basis to deliver occupational therapy services, maximising functional outcomes.
  • Monitoring consumer response to intervention programs and modifying interventions to meet individual consumers' level of function.
  • Supporting consumers' program intervention goals and providing opportunities for clients to participate in activities that support their recovery program.


To be successful in this role, you will require:
  • Current National Police Clearance (NPC)
  • Working with Children Check
  • Immunisation screening as indicated in the role description.
