Occupational Therapist Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate occupational therapist to join our team. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in diverse roles, including in-clinic therapy, joint therapy sessions with speech pathologists, small groups and capacity-building support in educational settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Providing therapy for children in areas such as sensory processing, regulation, self-care skills, toileting and motor skills.
  • Conducting in-clinic therapy with resources and a shared resource room.
  • Collaborating with speech therapists for joint therapy sessions.
  • Completing documentation in a timely manner (notes, reports, letters, NDIS documentation).
  • Managing a caseload with flexibility to work from home during school holidays.
  • Participating in regular team meetings and professional development sessions.
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy (Bachelor or Masters Degree)
  • Membership of the Occupational Therapy Association
  • Current Working with Children Check
  • Current NDIS Worker Check
  • Current driver's license
  • Current First Aid Certification
  • Ability to work collaboratively with team members
  • A commitment to self-leadership and continuous learning
