Locum Mental Health Nursing Roles

We are seeking dedicated nurses for a minimum 12-week contract in regional and remote locations across Australia.

Role Overview

You will provide critical support and care in acute mental health, community mental health, and inpatient units.

Key responsibilities include managing urgent mental health crises, stabilising patients, and coordinating with emergency services.

You will also deliver consistent, supportive care to individuals requiring more intensive mental health support.

Criteria:

  • Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA without restrictions.
  • A minimum of 5 years in mental health nursing, particularly in case management.
  • Excellent communication abilities to engage effectively with patients and team members.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.
  • A valid driver's license for regional and remote roles.
  • Willingness to commit to travel nursing contracts in regional/remote areas for at least 12 weeks.
