We are seeking a highly experienced professional to fill a challenging role as a Senior Network Engineer.

">

The successful candidate will have extensive experience in designing, managing and maintaining internet gateway and large-scale data centre networking environments.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and evaluating infrastructure requirements to meet future demand.
  • Providing expert technical support for project build, test and solution deployment activities.
  • Maintaining accurate documentation of processes and systems.
  • Collaborating with the team to develop and implement strategies and operational policies.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of F5/Blue Coat Layer 4-7 switching/load balancing and proxy systems, Cisco Data Centre technologies, Palo Alto firewalls and IPS Solutions, VPN technologies, email and DNS (Infoblox) Solutions, and hybrid and public cloud services.

A high level of communication and problem-solving skills is essential for this role, along with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Requirements

">
  • At least five years of experience in designing, managing and maintaining internet gateway and/or large-scale data centre networking environments.
  • Demonstrated experience and technical proficiency in the design of services utilising F5/Blue Coat Layer 4-7 switching/load balancing and proxy systems.
  • Demonstrated experience in the design and deployment of network infrastructure including Cisco Data Centre technologies like Cisco ACI, Cisco Routers, nexus switches, routing protocols like BGP, OSPF, EIGRP.
  • Demonstrated experience with and/or detailed understanding of Palo Alto firewalls and IPS Solutions.
  • Demonstrated experience in the design and implementation of VPN technologies, email and DNS (Infoblox) Solutions.
  • Demonstrated experience in the design and integration of hybrid and public cloud services.
