About the Role

Otraco International is a world-leading provider of Earthmover/Off-road tyre management services to the mining industry. Our company has a proven ability to reduce the cost of earthmover tyre operation for major mining companies while maximising productivity and enhancing safety.

This is a full-time role based in Brisbane, requiring regular travel across regional QLD to ensure consistent support across our operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Promote a safety culture across all projects, targeting zero harm to personnel and the environment.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant legislative requirements on site.
  • Investigate hazards, incidents, and unsafe work conditions, eliminating or reducing risks to acceptable levels.
  • Report, investigate, and implement follow-up actions for incidents.
  • Review and recommend improvements to existing Safe Work Procedures, promoting 'best practice' across all Otraco operations.
  • Support the attraction and onboarding of new personnel.
  • Implement performance review and development plans for personnel.
  • Ensure client sites are sufficiently manned by qualified competent personnel to deliver scope of works.
  • Undertake routine site visits to Otraco contracts in the region, accomplishing the applicable Scope of Works.
  • Perform internal and external audits focusing on system compliance, safety, and tyre management.
  • Prepare client reports meeting Otraco's professional standards, including recommendations on factors affecting tyre performance and costs.
  • Regularly meet with client representatives to discuss tyre performance and Otraco's service.
  • Assist Otraco site teams in complying with Otraco and Client policies, procedures, and instructions, as well as relevant contractual obligations and KPIs.
  • Support Otraco tyre life improvement programs at client sites.
  • Develop and lodge monthly invoicing for responsible sites.
  • Report on regional monthly performance.
  • Promote a culture of continual improvement and 'best practice' across Otraco project teams.
  • Conduct audits of Suppliers and assessment of Products to ensure effective delivery of service to clients.
  • Assist with the development of the Otraco Group's market share through active promotion of our array of Earthmover Tyre Management Services.
  • Support any tender submissions for new Otraco projects.
About You

To be successful, you will have the following skills and experience:

  • Extensive industry experience (10+ years) in the fitting of OTR tyres and the management of mine-based OTR operations.
  • Extensive supervisory/area manager experience, specifically the ability to provide support to geographically dispersed teams.
  • Current driver's licence.
  • AUR21920, AUR21916 or equivalent.
  • Good knowledge of the Microsoft suite of programs, including Excel & Word.
  • Good knowledge of OHS legislation, discipline, and practice.
  • Auditing Qualifications or previous auditing experience would be advantageous.
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or Certificate IV in Training & Assessing.
  • Certificate IV in Frontline Management.
