Production Operative Job Description

Instarmac is a market-leading specialist in the manufacture and distribution of cement and bitumen based products to global markets. Our production facility operates 24/7, working on shift patterns (Days and Nights).


We are seeking an experienced Production Operative who can work Monday to Friday.


The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to follow instructions, and maintain accurate production line paperwork.


A key responsibility of this role is to ensure safe working practices and adhere to Health, Safety and Environmental Policies.


This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is self-sufficient, able to work well under pressure, and can prioritize tasks effectively.


Key Requirements:

  • Ability to plan, organize and anticipate demands relating to works tasks, materials, packaging requirements.
  • Self-sufficiency, problem-solving skills and ability to deliver targets.
  • Good understanding of customer deliverables and the impact of failure/poor quality standards.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Demonstrate 'right first time' methodology and 5S standards to drive continuous improvements.
