Fund Operations Specialist

Seeking a detail-driven professional to maintain data integrity and client satisfaction in our fund operations team. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, excellent communication, and the ability to manage competing priorities under tight deadlines.

  • Maintain the accuracy and completeness of managed fund unit prices within our internal system, ensuring timely generation of reports for clients.
  • Elevate client service levels by resolving queries efficiently and escalating complex issues to management as necessary.
  • Perform operational tasks such as generating price age reports, following up with fund managers or clients on delayed reporting, and uploading distribution-related data into the system.
  • Add and delete funds from our internal system, ensuring seamless execution of these processes.
  • Cultivate expertise in our proprietary operational system (B3), achieving proficiency within three months.
  • Navigate B3 with ease to facilitate enquiries, processing, and reporting, always staying up-to-date with system enhancements and changes.
  • Demonstrate adaptability in serving diverse clients and their associated deliverables.
  • Develop knowledge of varying fund structures and the ability to service them effectively on our platform.
  • Cross-train with peers on operational responsibilities.

Qualifications / Required Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field.
  • Minimum two years' experience in fund operations or financial services.
  • Strong attention to detail and prioritization skills under pressure.
  • High level of professionalism and work ethic.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Intermediate-level abilities in Microsoft applications, including Excel and Outlook.
  • Understanding of the managed funds industry from various backgrounds.

Must have necessary permissions and legal documentation to work in Australia.
