Facility Supervisor Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate professional to fill the role of Facility Supervisor.

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for managing tenancy functions, ensuring the smooth operation of our facility, and providing exceptional support to our tenants.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Undertake tenancy management functions to ensure a safe and welcoming environment for all tenants;
  • Complete and/or arrange cleaning and maintenance tasks as required;
  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with tenants to address their health and wellbeing needs;
  • Provide assistance with meal preparation and planning;
  • Liaise with external support services to provide comprehensive care to our tenants.

Requirements:
  • Proven knowledge of issues related to homelessness and experience in a similar role;
  • Familiarity with relevant legislation, including the Residential Tenancy Act 1997, and occupational health and safety requirements;
  • A Safe Food Handling certificate or willingness to undertake training;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively within a team;
  • Sound computer skills and proficiency in relevant software applications;
  • An understanding of privacy and confidentiality issues, with a strong commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
