About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Associate to join our Australian Private Equity direct investment team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for supporting the investment team in all aspects of the investment life cycle, including industry research, due diligence, transaction execution, and portfolio company management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct industry research and due diligence on potential investment opportunities
  • Assist in the preparation of investment committee reports and presentations
  • Develop and maintain financial models and analysis to support investment decisions
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to identify and evaluate strategic opportunities for portfolio companies
  • Support the negotiation of debt facilities, purchase agreements, and other commercial agreements for portfolio companies
Requirements
  • Excellent financial analysis skills, including high proficiency in financial modeling
  • Superb quality written work product: coherent, persuasive with high attention to detail
  • Application of critical thinking in prioritizing work and analyzing investment opportunities, remaining goal focused in fast-paced and dynamic transaction environments
  • Strong team skills: ability to operate within team structures with clearly defined roles and responsibilities, cooperate effectively with junior and senior colleagues (locally and internationally)
